Shoeboxx is a FREE web based platform connecting retailers and consumers to eliminate the need for paper receipts. Using a card and online account members can receive, manage and analyse their receipt information in a cost effective and environmentally friendly way. The software uses retailers’ existing POS systems and should not involve installation of hardware.

• Reducing the retailers Carbon Footprint. A large retailer can consume up to 17,000 trees a year producing receipts. That is not even taking into account the energy consumption associated with printing, recycling and transporting receipts.
• Reducing paper consumptioon and costs associated with printing receipts. Besides the obvious environmental benefits the costs associated with printing receipts are very high. It is not just the cost of the paper and the ink that need to be considered but the maintenance, transportation and energy costs as well. A large retailer could stand to save anywhere between £500,000-£1,000,000 per annum by reducing the number of receipts they print.
